Shore Excursion Guide Copy
I wrote over 100, 75-word, intro copy blurbs for some of Royal Caribbean’s European shore excursions. Here’s a sampling:
Segway® In Palma
Get carried away by sights of Palma on a fun and eco-friendly two-wheeled electric vehicle, a perfect way to navigate and explore the Old Quarter Route. Your Segway will allow you “up close and personal” views of the Xesc Forteza Theatre, San Francisco Church, Monti-Sion Church, Major Square, Cort Square and Town Hall. You’ll visit la Lonja, its bars and restaurants, as well as many 13th-century courtyards that are emblematic of the city.
Kayaking and Snorkeling on Ibiza
No Ibiza vacation is complete without experiencing its crystal-clear, temperate waters. Whether above the surface or just below it, the surrounding seas are the perfect shade of turquoise, teeming with colorful marine life and making it ideal for snorkelers. Or, try an invigorating ride in a sea kayak for some of the best views of the island. Whether a beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, we’ll provide you with optimum instruction, equipment, and vantage points.
Porto Cristo & Drach Caves
After a tour of the charming village of Porto Cristo, descend into the cavernous wonders of its nearby attraction, Drach Caves, home to the largest underground lake in the world. Floating along these mysterious cave walls is an unforgettable spectacle, as the Caves’ dramatic formations are enhanced by light and music. On your way back to the ship, you’ll stop at a pearl factory to witness the artisanship of this famous Balearic tradition.
Mallorca Beach Transfer
Ride a wave of relaxation at Palma Nova, one of the most tranquil, family-friendly beaches in Mallorca. Sink your toes in the white powdery sand and wade through its clear blue shallow waters. Stretch out in a lounge chair, sip on a cool drink, catch up on your reading, or participate in a selection of water sports. You’ll enjoy the balmy sea breezes while you soak up some rays – the day is yours!
Easy Panoramic Palma (Wheelchair Accessible)
Your leisurely excursion through history begins at the panoramic views of Bellver Castle, a 14th-century citadel overlooking Palma. Drink in the grandeur of the nearby Almudaina Palace, an ancient Arab fortress that later became a royal residence. Riding on to Parque del Mar, you’ll stop at the city’s Cathedral, considered one of Europe’s finest examples of Gothic church architecture, then complete your tour at the city’s 1929 bull ring, designed in the Baroque style.
